At 1,500 metres above sea level, cross-country skiing fans in the Murau/Krakau region get their money's worth: extremely reliable snow, perfectly groomed trails and the romantic, dreamy Prebersee lake glistening in the background. On the southern side of the Schladminger Tauern, you can also count on particularly many hours of sunshine and completely unspoilt nature.
The trails are easy to master for beginners as well as for ambitious cross-country skiers and guarantee extraordinary views. And if you do need to take a breather, there are plenty of places to stop for a bite to eat or for a leisurely winter hike.

- Equipment rental and a ski school ensure that beginners can also find their way around the trail.
- The trail is the immediate vicinity of the Ludlalm, where you can also sledge, toboggan or shoot curling.
