Program at the Museum Hartberg:
7 pm: “Castle building in Styria” lecture by Dipl.-Ing. Jürgen Moravi, Carinthian State Conservatory. The heyday of castles dates back 600 to 800 years. They had a variety of functions: military, administrative, economic and of course housing was also important. But it was a long way to the comfort of castles.
20.30 “1934 - Civil War in Austria” - lecture by Dr. Stephan Stibor The uprising against the government in February 1934 has a long history. Political differences escalated during the interwar period until open resistance broke out in the industrial towns of Upper Styria.
Guided tours of the museum every hour on the hour from 6pm to 11pm
