The circular route begins at the market square in Oberzeiring in the Murtal, where you will see several historic buildings such as the baker's house, the plague column, the town house, the square house, the merchant's house, the baker's house and the parish church of St Nicholas. The walk takes you past the Kellerhaus, the Hackenschmiede and the moated castle. During your walk, you will also visit the branch church of St. Elisabeth. The butcher's house is also on your way and you walk along the Norische Hauptstraße on historical paths. The Klingkeusche, the dyer's cross and the Kaßmühle town house tell their story on this hike, as do the nail smith's cross, the poorhouse and the old brewery. After this, you continue to the Messnerhaus schoolhouse and return to the old town hall.
The exact route description and all historical details about the buildings can be found in the brochure "Historischer Rundweg Oberzeiring" (available from the tourist office of the Erlebnisregion Murtal in Oberzeiring). Only in German!
