More information

You can reach the starting point Feldbach directly by train, at the train station Feldbach or by car via the A2 - Südautobahn. If you arrive by car, it is best to exit in Gleisdorf-West and then continue to Feldbach.

Detailed information on how to get there can be found here.
The tour starts in Feldbach and leads over many hills through the Saßtal to St. Stefan im Rosental and Jagerberg.

St. Stefan im Rosental fully lives up to its name, because here - in the middle of town - you have the opportunity to enjoy countless rose bushes. Dive into a sea of roses and take a look at the impressive churches in St. Stefan im Rosental and Jagerberg. Special attention should be paid to the delightful chapel in Glojach. It stands on the hilltop, welcomes guests and impresses with a magnificent view. But not only historically, but also culinary the region has a lot to offer. You don't have to fear hunger and thirst here.

Via Gnas you return to the starting point in Feldbach. And around Gnas - you should know - is the "Tatschkerland". "Tatschker" are frogs - and there are still plenty of them here in southeastern Styria. At least that's what the "Flaschelbauer" says, of whom actually very few people know what his real name is, because here in this region people only know and call the vulgo names, the speaking house names. One talks with the "Bachschallerl", from the Bergfastl, lets the "Peinfranz" give a greeting and then goes on to the "Lippweber" or to the "Fellhiasl". If one does not always understand everything as a "Zuagroaster" (non-native) that is not bad. Simply "zualousn" and nod.

From the waypoint "Toter Mann" near Lichendorf to Wetzelsdorf near Jagerberg, the Earth 1 tour leads along the route FB11 - 3 Kircherl Tour.

Experience the element earth in the Thermen-& Vulkanland Styria on this bike tour like never before. Enjoy the rolling hills, the colorful forests and the lush green!

Detailed information about arriving by ÖBB (Austrian Federal Railways) can be found at  www.oebb.at or on the Verbundlinie Steiermark website  www.busbahnbim.at
