The WM trail leads us from between the federal highway and the airfield (shortcut airfield trail possible) to Langwies, from there to the JUFA Erlaufsee (entry) back to Langwies and via the airfield trail in loops back to the beginn.

A connecting trail branches off at km 2.2 from the WM trail to the north in the direction of Mitterbach.

Cross-country skiing fee:

Day ticket on a voluntary basis: € 4,00

Season ticket: € 42,00 (available at the municipality of Mariazell)

Coming from Graz:

The A9 Phyrnautobahn heading north, then S35 Brucker Schnellstraße and S6 Semmering Schnellstraße to Kapfenberg exit, then B20 (Mariazeller Bundesstraße) 49 km north (signpost).

Variant:S6 to St. Marein exit and then over the Pogusch to Turnau and from Au on the B20 to Mariazell.

Coming from Salzburg:

Westautobahn A1 to exit Ybbs, then B25 to Scheibbs, from there two options:either B28 via Wastl am Wald to B20, then via Annaberg and Josefsbergor B25 further to Grubberg and then B71 via the newly expanded Zellerrain.

Coming from Vienna:

take the A1 Westautobahn to the St. Pölten Süd exit,then B20 (Mariazeller Bundesstraße) 76 km south, either via Annaberg and Josefsbergor also in Freiland turn left from the B20 onto the B21 and via Hohenberg and St. Aegyd through Halltal to Mariazell (sufficiently signposted).

Variant:Südautobahn A2 and S6 Semmering expressway to Mürzzuschlag, then via Neuberg and Mürzsteg on the B21 to Mariazell.

We start at the Bartelbauer Inn in St. Sebastian. The cross-country ski trail leads us through the airport of St. Sebastian. The cross-country ski trail is over 9 km long.

There is further a connection to the cross-country ski trail to Mitterbach.

Our tip: Stop at Gasthof Bartelbauer for a homemade curd strudel with vanilla sauce served in the Ofenstube!

Coming from Graz:

Take the ÖBB from Hbf Graz to Kapfenberg, change there to bus line 170.Coming from Salzburg:ÖBB or Westbahn to St. Pölten, then change to the Mariazellerbahn.

Coming from Vienna:

Variant 1: Postbus from Vienna main station to Mariazell

Option 2: ÖBB Westbahnhof or Hauptbahnhof to St. Pölten, then change to Mariazellerbahn

Option 3: ÖBB Hauptbahnhof or Meidling to Mürzzuschlag, then change to RegioBus 189
