Especially popular are the many themed hiking trails, such as the water trail or the cult hiking trail to the Wildwiese.
One of the most popular and distinctive excursion and hiking destinations in the Joglland-Waldheimat region in eastern Styria is located at around 1,200 meters above sea level - on the Wildwiese in Miesenbach. Because there you can go even higher on the approximately 30-meter-high lookout. You are rewarded with a unique view of the Fischbach Alps and on fine days you can see as far as Hungary. The water trail, the newly designed gorge trail to the neighboring village of Birkfeld or the loop around Miesenbach also make the hearts of hikers beat faster. Also the cyclists do not come too short. The Trail Land offers a versatile bike park with rental and charging station of bikes and makes every trail heart shine brighter.
In winter, a small but fine ski area awaits visitors, where Renate Götschl also took turns in her youth and which was the first area in Styria to help Frau Holle with an artificial snow system.
