From the spa park, the trail leads up the Traun River to the east and crosses the Grundlseer Traun River on the "Gamsensteg". Further on, the path leads uphill over steps. At the first step you are at the edge of a parking lot, which you cross to the left.
Then you branch off to the right into an unnamed, somewhat steeper access path, past some residential houses. At its upper end, you come to an agricultural tool shed. Here you are at the foot of the north slope of the Tauscherin. Continue climbing the steps to the resting benches, from where you can enjoy a splendid panoramic view.
The way back leads down from the tool shed along the gravel path to the right, down to Kirchengasse. There, take a sharp left into the narrow Tauscheringasse, which leads you back to the parking lot mentioned earlier. Descending the steps you reach again the "Gamsensteg" over the Traun and walk back into the Kurpark.
