Fieberbründlweg - pilgrimage path to the pilgrimage site Maria Fieberbründl

Closed
Pilgrimage trail to the pilgrimage site Maria Fieberbründl! In the middle of a charming forest landscape, this beautiful hiking trail leads to two charming Kneipp facilities and the pilgrimage church.

According to legend, a hermit built a wooden hut in the forest, in which he placed a statue of the Virgin Mary. Next to the hut there was a small fountain from which the visitors of the respected hermit drank and which was used against fever diseases. At the request of many pilgrims, the wooden chapel was replaced in 1879 by a dignified stone chapel, whose consecration took place on October 26.

This chapel of grace, "Maria im Elend", corresponds to the present-day sanctuary. A smaller chapel, "Maria Fieberbründl", was also built, but was replaced by the prayer hall in 1894. In 1954 the prayer hall was connected to the chapel by a transept.

  • Next to the pilgrimage church of Maria Fieberbründl, there is a beautiful graduation facility made entirely of larch wood.
  • A great facility for your well-being. Water enriched with sea salt ripples over blackthorn and spruce brushwood.
