Vorberg Loop Trail

'Vorberg' indicates the districts positioning in front of the Kulmberg mountain; wide views of the Schladminger Tauern. 
The Vorberg Loop Trail is a lovely, easy and varied forest walk with beautiful glades and panoramic views onto the Ennstal valley.

More information

From the west: 

Tauern Autobahn (A 10) to Knoten Ennstal - turnoff direction Graz/Schladming - stay on the Ennstal-Bundesstraße (B320) for approx. 20 km until Schladming - take the turnoff for Ramsau. 

From the north: 

Pyhrn Autobahn (A 9)  direction Liezen - take the Ennstal-Bundesstraße (B320)  to Schladming - turnoff Ramsau.

At the Drachenlift II in Ramsau Vorberg, follow the root covered trail (path no. 10) below. A slight descent will lead you to the Vorbergstraße. Follow it to the South, through the woods to the Steinbauer and Naturhaus Lehnwieser. 

From there, a beautiful path will take you through a quiet forest. Its clearings will give you a beautiful view from the meadows to Dachstein's south face and the Ennstal valley.

At the 'Haus Oberschneeberger', cross the farm before you reach the forest trail that takes you back onto the Vorbergstraße. 

Following the street to the left, take a right to the Wieserhof farm and continue on this path. 

When you reach the Kulmberg Loop, marking no. 2, you will walk for another 30 minutes back to your starting point.
