Spechtenlake via Wörschachklamm

At the beginn through the Wörschachklamm and at the end belong forest and meadow trails to the Spechtensee.  
A hike through the wildly romantic Wörschachklamm gorge, which leads you further along forest roads, through mossy forest and fragrant meadows to the Spechtensee lake, which is embedded in nature. Walk around it or take a soothing footbath and feel how beautiful life can be.

Coming from Schladming or Liezen, turn off the B320 in Wörschach, through the village in the direction of Wörschachklamm.
This hike leads you through the wild and romantic Wörschachklamm gorge. At the exit of the gorge, turn left and follow the signs  trail. Walk along forest paths, through mossy forest and fragrant meadows in the direction of the Wörschach forest to the Spechtensee lake, which is embedded in nature. The picturesque moor lake is truly a silent sensation. Walk around it, treat yourself to a soothing footbath and watch the dragonflies dancing in front of you while you sit on the jetty or on the terrace of the Spechtensee hut. Wonderful!

Go eat to get strong at the Spechtenseehütte.
With the bus 940 to th ebus stop ,,Wörschach Ort''. Near the stop is the begin.

The Wörschachklamm is open daily from 08:00 - 18:00 until 31 October.
